Alonys Art Donates Valentine’s Day Cards to The Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles with Crewest Gallery
The Children’s Hospital in Orange County and the LA Youth Network Also Benefit
Los Angeles, CA / January 26, 2010 – San Diego-born, Inland Empire-based artist Alonys has donated love-inspired, custom designed Valentine’s Day greeting cards to the Crewest Gallery’s “The Gift of Giving Art and Love” project.
Crewest Gallery will be delivering over 1,000 Valentines Day cards created and donated by 150+ artists from all over the world to the patients at The Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, The Children’s Hospital in Orange County and the Youth at LA Youth Network and possibly even more.
“When asked to participate in the Valentine's Day Project by Crewest Gallery, I immediately responded with yes! The mere thought of bringing a smile to a child in the hospital, especially on a day dedicated to love was to me a priceless gift, I could not pass up,” says Alonys.
About Alonys Art
To regain sanity in an insane world, Alonys Art began to express her thoughts and life in the form of abstract art. Simply beginning on supermarket paper bags, her work blossomed when it reached canvas of all sizes. She developed her style with acrylic paint, and began to add anything she could find around her to create original mixed media pieces. Surrounded by the entertainment industry, a major element in her art is the use of vinyl records, CDs, and clothing. She attempts to provoke thought by infusing words, vibrant colors, and textures in her work.
In 2008 Alonys began MAD COLOUR, a one of a kind custom painted handbag line made from bamboo and canvas. MAD COLOUR will launch in 2010 and merge Alonys' creativity and abilities within Art and Fashion.
