Captures Latin Pride and Energy of Dominican and Puerto Rican Day Parades
New York, NY / September 14, 2010 - Dominican-American recording artist JF1 has released his debut music video "Como Yo," the first off his forthcoming album “Insaciable” (Impresario Music Group), which will be released in early 2011.
“We shot this video during the Dominican and Puerto Rican Day parades. There was so much energy, the atmosphere was incredible, and I think the video really captures it,” says JF1. “‘Como Yo’ is a song that the radio is going to want to play because it appeals to pop and urban Latino fans. The hook makes the song really catchy with a potential to break out on top Latin radio, and television,” continues JF1’s manager.
“Como Yo” is a mix of Reggaeton and Bachata, which has easily earned him over 200,000 plays and 450,000 views on MySpace. His new video features the vibrant colors and energy of the street, as well as the cultural pride of JF1’s growing Dominican fan-base. The “Como Yo” music video will be serviced to popular television channels, mobile networks and Internet platforms.
Boston-born, Dominican-raised and now New York-based recording artist JF1 is an R&B version of Daddy Yankee and in the vain of De La ghetto and Prince Royce.
