Connor Desai is a Seattle-based singer/songwriter/guitarist whose sophomore album Use Your Hands was independently released on June 15, 2010 and of whom the Jazz Music Examiner says “this Seattle artist is an extraordinary voice all her own, able to deftly flow over jazz-funk bass notes or American folk guitar strumming,” and Seattle Show Gal notes “is sure to melt your heart with her sultry, silky voice and fine-tuned jazzyness with a hint of bouncy pop.” A national feature on Channel One News also revealed that “Connor Desai's music is reminiscent of Norah Jones' rich melodies, complimented by Desai's voice which harkens back to some of Sheryl Crow's early pop-rock.”
